OUR CRY CENTER · WHERE EVERY CRY FINDS COMFORT
Our programs · Wakiso District, Uganda

With God’s grace, we will keep showing up.

Children are our main focus. OUR CRY CENTER currently cares for 14 orphaned children and 8 women in Wakiso District. The children need daily food and medication, education, shelter, and loving care; we also stand beside women and families facing hardship. We believe every person deserves comfort, dignity, and a place to feel at home.

The need around us

128 families need your help.

In Wakiso District, 128 families need your help. Within OUR CRY CENTER, 14 orphaned children and 8 women are currently in our care. We help ladies and families with food and basic necessities, and provide shelter to some when we currently have space. We pray to grow so more can find a safe place to feel at home.

Care we provide

Daily food for children

The 14 orphaned children at OUR CRY CENTER need food and medication every day. We also share food and everyday essentials with women and families as resources allow.

🏡
Shelter · limited room

A place to feel at home

We currently shelter some women and families when space is available. We do not have room for everyone who needs a place, and hope to expand.

A need for young children

Mosquito nets and mattresses for little ones.

Many of the young children are sleeping on the floor and need a mattress. Families also need mosquito nets. We hope to help provide both, so children can have a more comfortable place to sleep.

These are priority needs in our community. We will share updates when we are able to provide mattresses or nets.

Helping single mothers rebuild

We hope to help mothers facing violence, abandonment, separation, or loss regain stability and build a hopeful future. Specialist services will only be described when we can verify and provide them.

💛

Children with additional needs

We hope to support children born with medical conditions, disabilities, or developmental needs, and help their families connect with appropriate care and learning support.

Ideas for the future

Pray with us for more room to welcome.

By the grace of God, we pray to find bigger land, build more shelter, and make room for more women and children to feel at home. We believe God will make a way where there seems to be no way. These are hopes we want to grow carefully with the community—not completed projects.

The faith behind our care

We believe caring for children is a calling from God.

Our faith asks us to love our neighbours not only in words, but in the small, steady ways we can: sharing food, making room, listening, and helping a child prepare for school. We pray for wisdom, strength, and a bigger place to welcome more people.

Prayer and encouragement are always offered with respect for each person and only when they are welcome.

Walk with our community

There is always room for kindness.

Ask about a current need, share a skill, or talk with us about the future we are praying and working toward.
